Premiere of the project and presentation of the single Ninhos
Ninhos is born from a first collaboration between Joana and Miguel in which the word leads the creation of music.
From this encounter emerged a series of themes that incorporate elements of jazz and and erudite music. It seeks, above all, to ascend to the organicity that ties the written written and improvised moments, in a theme that appeals to the untying of the strings:
"We woke up in a free place. Free from the ropes with which we tied ourselves. We woke up in a wide place, different from the one where we fell asleep. Free from our dome, we breathed endlessly, without the oxygen running out."
After developing the project as a duo, the need was felt to expand this music and its thematic, thus creating a quartet of piano, voice, bass and drums Demian Cabaud and João Cardita. It tells of the freeing of chains and the journey of a decoy of a decoy, protagonist of these songs and flying representation of ourselves. ourselves. He tells us, through lyrics, the adversities of his journey through the air after of his emancipation.
