The Municipality of Famalicão, aware of international dynamics, coordinates a strategy of urban diplomacy - Famalicão Alliance, based on a wide international cooperation network, which aims to stimulate the internationalisation of the city.
Currently, the municipality maintains economic, cultural, environmental and social relations with more than 80 cities from 30 countries on four continents, through either partnerships, twinning or international projects.
The various institutions, companies and people are fundamental links for the implementation of this strategy, in an aggregative dynamic to project Famalicão in the world.
