IRMA was born in Lisbon but her identity reflects a strong influence of Angolan culture, or was not Angola the country of origin of the grandparents with whom she grew up. Graduated in Performing Arts, because she has always believed that music, theater and dance complement each other, adds several roles as a fictional actress broadcast on various national channels and has been part of the cast of several musicals. The release of PRIMAVERA, IRMA’s debut album, coincided, not by chance, with her birthday, symbolically marking the birth of a promising singer, lyricist and composer of the new generation of Portuguese artists.
After "Vejo-te Aqui", a song that she released in collaboration with Tiago Nacarato and that continues in high rotation in the main national radios, the artist is now preparing the successor of her debut album, Primavera. "Próxima Vez" and "Fica Comigo" were the ones we already know of the new EP that IRMA will edit in 2022, Filha da Tuga. Having performed in the musical "A Nova Cinderella no Gelo", IRMA continues to combine music with theatre and dance, revealing to be a complete artist who, despite having first stated with the general public as an actress, has in singing and composition the oldest expression of his talent, revealed as a child and now embraces in parallel to representation.
Rui Miguel Abreu directs the project Rimas e Batidas that also gives name to two programs on Antena 3, one daily and one weekly, in which he discloses and investigates the paths of hip hop and surroundings, both national and international. He also does at Antena 3 the program Notas Azuis, this one focused on jazz and closer languages, and the debate program Precisamos de Falar, in which he shares microphones with Luis Oliveira, Nuno Galopim and Ana Markl. With more than 30 years of journalistic experience, Rui Miguel Abreu has been a tireless promoter of national and international music, having for this purpose over the years created multiple projects, from books to documentaries, as well as spaces within festivals, so you programmed some stages. It is also, whenever the opportunity arises, DJ with a wide range of interests, but recently more focused on contemporary jazz and its surrounding areas.
The Winter Soul Festival is not just about music and in this first edition, Rui Miguel Abreu will conduct a gathering with different guests and two after-hours sessions (at the café with live music).
