Iberia, the geometric place of a meeting of cultures and peoples, materialises on stage through the fusion of sounds and the triangulation of a common and shared imaginary. As a geographical space, Iberia was and is the present and future meaning of a blend of cultures that, on stage, this magical place, is transmuted by passion, technical ability and creativity, into a union of moments, a synthesis of languages, involving three extraordinary musicians, three languages, three personalities.
Twenty years on, they have returned to create new musical pieces, new journeys to the far reaches of an Iberian culture that these three musicians and composers share without limits or borders. This reunion between Manuel de Oliveira, Jorge Pardo and Carles Benavent is a new chapter in a collaboration that became a friendship and led to two studio albums, a concert film, a documentary, a live album, dozens of concerts in Portugal and Spain and around forty original works.
