Here we are in poetry again...
In insane times like the ones we live in, when words of hatred and news of inhumane acts cloud our senses, when we already think we're immune to the beauty of small things, suddenly we stumble upon a book, by chance, it falls and opens for us. We bend down to pick it up and accidentally read the first line of the poem:
I return slowly to your smile like someone returning home...
Without realising it, we're on the floor re-reading words that comfort and protect us with the kiss of the poet, whose saliva stubbornly nourishes the seeds of love and hope in the verses that are in us! And we feel an unusual joy growing, which makes us get up and encourages us to spread words and sounds and music to meet hearts.
Yes, we're back home! Poetry welcomes us with a warm embrace! The door is open to anyone who wants to come in...
