More than remembering what happened on September 28th, 1835, at the 1st meeting of the Municipal Commission lead by António Ribeiro de Queiroz Moreira, following the municipal autonomy proclaimed by Queen D. Maria II, the celebration of the Council's Day is seen as a moment to exalt the overcoming capacities of the famalicense territory and its people, highlighting its unity, cohesion and present capacity of achievement. The City Council of Vila Nova de Famalicão celebrates 186 years since the creation of the municipality. This is already the sixth edition of the Famalicão Visão'25 Stamps, which are distributed by 4 categories: "Famalicão Made IN", "B- Smart Famalicão", "Força V - Famalicão Voluntário"; and "Famalicão Comunitário".
