Cycle of Christmas Concerts

The Famalicão Comunitário program is organizing the Christmas initiative "Comunidades (en) Coro" (Communities in Choir), with 10 Choirs representing each of the Social Inter-Freguesias (CSIF's) of the county. The performances take place between December 1st and 19th, culminating on January 9th with a joint performance at the Paços do Concelho, thus constituting the Famalicão Communitarian Choir. Keith Horsfall, musician and teacher, involved in arts education for over 30 years, will conduct the Choir. He has vast experience as coordinator of a regional music service in Dudley, England, as leader of a community arts team and of a regional arts centre.) Rehearsals are open to all who enjoy singing.
