Seara Nova magazine celebrates 100 years in October 2021 and, as part of the commemorations, the Bernardino Machado Museum promotes the day "Seara Nova (1921-1984) On the pretext of the centenary of an unfinished work".

The Centenary programme, entitled "100 years of Action and Critical Thought", comprises a set of initiatives and projects that aim at expressing in a dignified manner the historical path of the main magazine of culture and democratic resistance of the 20th century, and at honouring its founders and all those who, throughout time, through their thought and action, have contributed to the aggrandizement and prestige of the publication.
