More than three decades after the attribution of the title of city, decided in 1985 by the Assembly of the Republic, Famalicão celebrates this landmark event that completely changed the destiny of this land and its people. In this context, the commemorations will have their high point on Saturday, July 9, at 18h00, in the City Hall, with the traditional solemn session of the City Day, marked by the awarding of municipal prizes to the personalities and institutions that have contributed to the growth of the Famalicão community, in the most diverse areas, and ending with the traditional City Cake.
