"Portuguesa" is the sixth disc in Carminho's career and features 14 compositions, several with her own lyrics and music, among other authors. The songwriter and performer takes on the production of the album as well as composing original traditional fados. In a quest to deepen her thinking about fado, Carminho explores various combinations within the canons, rethinking the form and moving like a fish in water that is her own.
