After accompanying and recording with singers like Maria Bethânia, Nana Caymmi and Elza Soares, drummer and percussionist Carlos Cesar promotes his first solo project, based on his own compositions and re-recordings of Brazilian music classics. With extensive experience in musical genres such as samba, choro and forró, Carlos Cesar presents the richness of Brazilian percussion, combined with the influence of improvisation in jazz.
