Chef Álvaro Costa returns to the square for showcooking with pears, poems and music

In March, the World Poetry Day is celebrated and that is the motto for another showcooking with Chef Álvaro Costa, who invited Simão Barros to come to the Praça - Famalicão Market, to recite poems and passages about gastronomy, accompanied by the music of Pedra D'Água, while he prepares pears in spices with muscatel and pine nut cream.
The "Resident Chef" program has throughout this year the curatorship of Álvaro Costa, who every month joins the art of cooking to other arts, bringing to the Praça - Municipal Market "people of the land, of the culture and that many honour us with the company they make us in the kitchen, while we prepare another dish to present to the famalicenses" he pointed out.
This Saturday, March 12, from 16h00, Álvaro Costa will prepare another recipe, in a moment of experimentation and learning. "We want people to accompany us, question us and enjoy the show that our guests will give us", he added.
The showcooking is free to attend, but is subject to prior registration, which can be done by emailing geral@pracafamalicao.pt, indicating full name and telephone contact.
